Training Methodology
The purpose of training is to produce positive, measurable changes in participants’ real world behaviors and the achievement of the organizational objectives.
DiamondWinds’ design and facilitation approach allows participants to develop proficiency in skills and knowledge and to understand the importance of their learning to the organization and themselves.

Create Relevance. Participants need to see how learning this content (knowledge, skill, or strategy) will make a difference for them. This step creates a willingness to learn.
UnPack It. The elements that comprise a content area are presented and explored one at a time. In this step, participants gain a robust understanding of the content and its elements.
Work With It. The participants begin using the content through application or skill practice. In this step, fluency is initiated and enriched.
Connect It. Participants determine specifically how the content can be incorporated into their operating reality. In this step, participants begin transferring the learning to their real world.
